This recipe is Angela’s momma’s recipe she has been serving her family for decades. The thick tomato sauce is mixed with RRF ground beef and RRF Italian Sausage and layered with lasagna noodles, cottage cheese (YEP!) mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese. It is sooooo good! Thaw the casserole in the fridge before you head off to work and pop it in the oven before dinner. Serve it with a side salad and dinner is complete.

This casserole serves 2-4 depending on the serving size. Alan and I can eat 1 by ourselves but we probably shouldn’t. Lol!
